Busy on the weekends in Summer, but empty during the week. This is a free camping area run by the Army Corps of Engineers. There's a wide shoulder in the driveway large enough for a few full sized RVs. A 14-day maximum stay. You can also camp on the beach, but better for smaller vehicles and tents. The only facilities are picnic tables and a boat ramp. A decent place to camp in your RV for free on Lake Eufaula.
Beautiful housing addition. Located on 45th Street in Shawnee. I’m not sure what the other review has a lake in the picture but this housing development doesn’t have that so he must have the wrong address.
