Capricorn House

great place to stay. room was tight (just like they'd said), but glorious view from deck (and common area porch) of nantucket sound. located directly across street from sandy inkwell beach, two blocks from ocean park (downtown)....location location location. street parking.

We had a wonderful stay at the Capricorn House! The balcony views of inkwell beach were astounding! We enjoyed being a short walk away from Oak Bluffs town, restaurants and the beach. The rooms are small as expected in the cottages on the islands but were comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The kitchenette area was very convenient with free coffee, fridge and microwave. The owner Henry and our hostess Anique were very friendly and were always available for assistance.

You cannot beat the location of this gorgeous house!! Across the street from the beach and not even 5 min walk to downtown. Clean, Comfortable beds, amazing water pressure in the bathrooms, sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch looking at the ocean is worth every penny! Would highly recommend!! Henry also seems like such a genuine, happy and caring human being!

Henry (owner) is a gem, and the place has a wonderful homey feel, and perfect location right along the water, with serene porch and rockers to relax in (note that the road does run by the porch). We will definitely be back; Oak Bluffs has such a warm and positive energy and is a joy to walk around from Capricorn
