Capital Plaza Hotel

Our first stay at the Capitol Plaza and we were pleased. The staff was wonderful and the place is very clean and well located. Judging by the pictures in the lobby, the hotel is about to undergo remodeling but it looks fine before any work. Our only issue was that they didn't make the room up and we had to request towels from the desk.

Carol and Ashley manage the place well as a great team, but the ladies and the one gentleman at the desk are fabulous and they really hold the place down. Alice, Lynn, Terry and I believe it's Deanne (?) really make you feel at home. I am waiting on a condo now and they've worked with me on pricing and helping me to have somewhere to stay comfortably during my housing transition. THANKS SO MUCH! If you need to stay in Frankfort for a night or two, this is a great affordable option for a 4 star hotel with indoor pool and gym, fabulous breakfast every morning (even Christmas day!) and access to a nice restaurant and bar with a delightful wait staff and cooks, Asia to be particular, is absolutely wonderful and she's great for a service position with her bubbly personality and easy going atti

Positive: Location of this hotel is great for a quick stop in Frankfort! We came in late and left early, so didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel besides to sleep. The man who checked us in was great, as was the rest of the staff. Negative: The hotel is dated and could used some work.

Staff was nice and friendly but this place has definitely seen better days. It’s pretty beat up and long overdue for a renovation. The fitness center is a joke. Also the beds are definitely not queen sized so if you plan on sharing, snuggle up! Downtown location is good though.

The Capital Plaza Hotel was in a great location for the event we attended. Walkable area and felt safe. The employees were great. Mr. Frank and Mr. William, front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The lady in the room that served breakfast was also friendly. I think she also helped cooked. The room was nice but no ice machine on our floor. Had to go to 2 other floors to find ice. The weight room was terrible. We always try to stay somewhere with an exercise room to get a workout in but this one was awful! The breakfast buffet was good and included with room. Also heard traffic all thru the night and we were on 7th floor.
