Canyon Rim at Eagle Crest

Check in was easy and informative. The unit 402 was outstanding. Clean (mostly… someone’s sock at the edge of the bed, a gross stain on the underside of the head of the comforter) The unit was roomy and nicely decorated. Also well equipped with plenty of dish ware. Service and responsiveness of the staff was excellent. We couldn’t be happier. We definitely made good use of the spa amenities. We will definitely be back.

The carpet in the downstairs area was filthy. There were items not taken care of or maintained. Some of the towels in the bathrooms had dark stains. The location was very nice though. I have been coming to Eagle Crest for years and this was sadly the lowest standards I have seen there.

To start, arriving at the so called reception desk. The four girls that process the check-in are completely burnt out, unknowledgable about everything, & need a new job along with their visiting friend. Asked a few questions about future reservations and how to book elsewhere and they knew nothing of nothing. Very dismissive as she sighed deeply. One of the so called in charge people in there looked completely jacked. To be honest a Kiosk would do. Regarding the room, it was clean but needs a deep clean. starting with the air vents, which we had to request to be cleaned. Seems to be an ongoing issue at this resort as the girls at the check-in area expressed how they did not have any canyon view rooms due to them not being cleaned or unresolved issues. Been coming here for almost 40 years. Have never felt this unwanted and ignored. The check in with the new management wasn't overly good and then we went into the unit. The door to the small deck was wide open, the upstairs door was unlocked, a light bulb was burnt out and not replaced. The clock by the bed was missing. Overall not a great start to the week. We are now going to sell our timeshare and get out.

Staff has been great. Unit was clean and ready for our stay. We really enjoy our time at Eagle Crest and all the amenities it has to offer.
