Candlewood Suites Louisville Airport by IHG

DON'T STAY HERE! I travel for work, stayed here for about 2 months. In that time I was over charged by more than $7000. Random charges on random dates so nearly impossible to dispute at the bank. Cars broken into regularly, had my window smashed out. Nobody working there has a clue how to do their job. Showers dont get hot and wifi sucks. Couldn't do laundry cause machines wear broke and full of nasty water. I wasnt the only one who got over charged when I stayed there, it happened to multiple people. They're thieves! Avoid at all costs!

We booked our rooms late while we were attending a heartscape expo. So, our hotel choices were limited so we selected this hotel. It is old and run-down. The rooms were very worn and beat-up. The towels were small and worn. The front desk employees were not eager to assist and seemed put out by any request for assistance. The bed was comfortable but the coffee pot was broken. The room layout was ideal for getting work done and the living room area for winding down after work.

Do not stay at this hotel unless they give you a detailed list of everything in the room that you will charged for, so you can check that it is indeed in the room when you check in or they will charge for for stuff and say you stole it! I checked in for 4 nights and only used a plate, 2 forks, and the dishwasher detergent to clean my dirty dishes before I left. I ordered a pizza one night and Chinese takeout and never cooked anything in the room! And they said I stole a frying pan!

I absolutely loved my stay at Candlewood Suites Louisville Airport. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchenette was a great bonus—it made it easy to prepare simple meals during my trip. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel. The gym (had weights!) and the snacks area (well stocked with a great variety of food items) were excellent as well. The neighborhood was pretty safe and I could safely take evening strolls. No suspicipous activity of any sort. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Louis

Location close to Bourbon and Beyond was appreciated. The neighborhood and hotel decor have a suburban homelike feel-very comfortable. Standouts for this stay include the shower pressure (amazing!) and the kind customer service of Jasmine at the front desk.
