Candlewood Suites Jonesboro by IHG

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We had driven all night, was exhausted upon arriving at 3am, and we're greeted by the kindest employee who made our check in process seemingly effortless. We stayed for an entire weekend, and received a family like vibe from the moment we walked thru the door. The house keepers were all so friendly and helpful. Always smiling. The pantry was stocked with all your must have traveling items. The gazebo out back was equipped with two large gas grills for hotel guests to use. Every single room has a kitchen area that includes a range cooktop, large microwave, sink, all dishes/cookware provided, and a dishwasher. There was an abundance of towels. The beds were AMAZING. T he staff went above and beyond; the front desk was so helpful with everything ( Jamie and V ) are the best! The room was spotless, bright, and surprisingly spacious. the bed was incredibly comfortable. Perfect Location to get back on the interstate! really enjoyed my stay will come back everytime Im in the area

I've stayed in many IHG hotels, but this one was nasty. It seemed like they did the bare minimum to clean after the previous person by changing the sheets and towels, but the floors were awful. There was literally food stuck to the ground in the middle of the space and all the hard floor I would not walk barefoot on based on the sound of it sticking to my shoes. The room was comfortable and the A/C worked great, but they need to clean better and check the closet for previous guest belongings before making it available for the next person. I used points for a free night which is why I didn't make a bigger deal about it when there.

Positive: What I liked best about the hotel is that the quietness and the way it was clean. Negative: The only thing that I didn't like about the hotel is that the bed and pillows were to soft and not firm enough for me.

Will definitely consider staying at this place again if in the area. Service was very friendly. Hotel does show signs of age but very comfortable. Really enjoyed the suite layout. The bed was comfortable. Would do well for an extended stay.
