Candlewood Suites Ft Myers I-75 by IHG

Room smelled strong cleaning smell (chemical) took like an hour to acclimate. Had small roaches in the kitchen. My coworker and I had different rates $232 and $187 and we checked in at the same time and checked out at the same time. I talked to manager and she said she couldn't do anything about it. Front desk was not friendly. The only good thing was free washer and dryer.

Staff was excellent. Mattress was collapsed on side and the air conditioner leaked water all over floor. I contacted the front desk told them situation. Was told maintenance would be in morning. They dried the carpet. However failed to fix the air conditioner leaking water. Never offered another room. I guess you avoid the floor around the air conditioner. Manger never called or ask if the problem was taken care of. I don't think I'll stay there again.

I would never recommend this hotel. My teenage daughter and I arrived in the middle of the night, and within minutes, we felt completely unsafe. The room smelled strongly of wet dog, the atmosphere was unsettling, and my daughter was so frightened she started crying. We stayed less than 10 minutes before deciding we had no choice but to leave and search for a safe, clean place to stay at 2 a.m. — not a situation any parent wants to be in. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to issue a refund despite the circumstances. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience.

This Candlewood Suites is the best !! The staff is here is amazing !! They are accommodating, helpful, & personable !! From the GM to the housekeeping !! On more than one occasion, interacting with the GM (Delia) & feeling her aura has improved my mood. She is delightful ! Karen, Nancy, Kevin, & Peyton make this place feel like more than a hotel ! I recommend for short or long stays. Location is the best & central to everything. They even have a little library where u can check out books !! Rooms are clean & up to date with full size fridge, stove tops, dishwasher, pots & pans, silverware, dishes, as well as the usual microwave & coffee maker. Beautiful always clean heated pool too !!

IGH is 2/2 for their properties I’ve stayed at thus far. The staff here are welcoming, efficient, & exceed expectations ! Whether you’re staying for 1 night or 5 months, you will be happy you choose The Candlewood @ I75 !! Location is perfect for dining, shopping, &/or leisure. Free laundry, too !! A special Thank you for Miss Delia, Miss Karen, & Miss Nancy !! And I almost forgot, Kevin !!
