Candlewood Suites Austin N-Cedar Park by IHG

Booked 1 overnight at this hotel. The front desk assistant was very nice. However, the TV in my room had no connection. I informed the front desk but was told she was unaware of the issue and didn't have a solution. Hotel owner and management must ensure this is resolved immediately. Watching TV in a hotel is a key component to a customer reservation. Additionally, I'm still waiting on my account to be credited back for room incidental.

I was at this hotel on a 60 day job assignment. Consequently, I had to check out because the rooms are full of mold. I moved into another room on a different floor and that room had mold as well. The mold was so bad, it is embedded in my clothes and skin. No matter how many times I bathe and wash my clothes, the mold scent is still there. The staff was pleasant except one housekeeper. I was told she was fired after the incident. However, I saw her hanging out in her car in the parking lot. Ppl are telling me my clothes smell like wet wood. 😩 Very embarrassing.

I absolutely love this place. From the full kitchen, comfortable bed, complimentary laundry. . But what really makes it great is the staff. They have been welcoming and accommodating from the beginning with my situation. I'm an extended stay guest and a waitress. . Meaning I get paid by the shift so they have been kind and patient with my daily pay. I've been staying in hotel since the floods and this is the first time I actually feel at home with the updated kitchen. Feels like a little studio apartment. I would recommend 💯

The front desk staff is very helpful and polite but the room was disgusting. There were stains on the recliner chair, carpet feels dirty and gross, bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned and there was a constant damp smell in the room.
