Candlewood Suites Apex Raleigh Area by IHG

Most hotels we stayed in had a small refrigerator,coffee pot, and microwave. The Candlewood Suites had a large refrigerator and Microwave also a coffee pot, dishwasher, 2 burner electric stove, reclining chair, side table, pots, pans, and utensils. They also have a free laundry room, but you have to purchase your own detergent. They don't have breakfast, but you can make your own or go to a nearby restaurant.

I’ve stayed in quite a few candlewood hotels, and this one was by far the worst. The room was not clean, and was very beat up and rundown. There were hairs all over toilet and floor where someone clearly shaved the stay before. The queen size bed was hard as a rock and was like sleeping on the floor. The price per night did reflect in anyway. The lady at the desk in the evening was very nice and only positive I can say but I won’t be staying here again.

Positive: "" Negative: There was a bug in the bed in my 1st room. I was moved to another room and there was a bug on the wall and in the bathroom. The room smelled bad. I sent pics to J who said he spoke to the manager, but I never received a reply from the manager.

I absolutely loved this hotel, the staff is excellent, extremely friendly and professional they simply out do an excellent job in all areas most places fail at. I had the joy of staying here nearly 2 months and I'm glad I was so lucky to snag a great room at a fantastic time. Cleanliness and service 5 stars with 24 hour front desk and an excellent location depending on your agenda. As an employee of McCrory construction I will definitely request to book this place again if ever needed in the future. Thanks you all ☺️

The staff we encountered here at the hotel were phenomenal! I can't say enough about Jay at the front desk who works the evening/night shift. He was friendly and helpful every single time we saw him. The room was spacious and although we don't currently need it, every room we walked by was an "Accessible Room". Clearance for wheelchairs and various needs. The room was well-stocked and if we needed anything there was a way to get it. The free laundry was a helpful bonus.
