CamperTown RV Park Aiken SC

There aren't a lot of campgrounds to choose from in Aiken, so if you must stay in town, this is probably your best choice. Some Aiken campgrounds are posh and very expensive while most are old and run down. CamperTown is sort of in the middle. There are quite a few really nice campsites here, especially in what appears to be a new section. However there is also a "slum" section. The spots are extremely close together and have trailers that ought to be condemned and removed for safety and security reasons. These trashed trailers give the whole place an air of unease. After driving through the campground, we decided to keep going. 1/2 an hour later we were in Augusta where we found a nice, reasonably priced park.

Management is ALWAYS closed. I haven’t been able to get my mail in two weeks. You call and no one answers the phone. There is no internet. The bathroom is disgusting, never cleaned, no toilet paper or hand soap, no shower curtains, SMELLS, and unsafe, women’s bathroom has no locks on stalls for toilet or shower + door doesn’t close all the way on the room. Advertised that it’s heated but the heat is never on. Laundromat is always locked, dryers don’t work right either, have to run loads through four or five times to get anything dry. Dog shit everywhere. Dogs constantly off leash. Dog park isn’t fenced in. Trash pickup is at 3am and always wakes you. Had been planning on staying another month but have decided to move on early…once I get my mail!!!! Also, creeps! Drunk men catcall me and ma

This place was fantastic! The folks were incredibly friendly. I stayed for a week without any hiccups or problems. I’d definitely recommend this RV Park to anyone searching for one. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

We stayed here for a couple weeks last December. Debra was very welcoming and helpful and there place was very nice!!!

New name for Pine Acres. Sweet lady checked us in a great people person. Stayed in the new section which is so new it's still being worked, thus 3 stars. Aiken is great town to explore.
