Cambria Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport

DISLIKES: After checking in and getting our keys to room 209, we up, but the keys wouldn’t work and we heard a crying baby next door, which isn’t a huge deal, but since we had to go back down for new keys anyway, we figured we’d ask if another room was available. They moved us to room 213. We walked in, and the room hadn’t been turned over yet. Dirty, unmade beds and trash were still in there. We went back down to the front desk they moved us back to 209. The staff was friendly. When we got back into room 209, there was an odd splatter all over the wall. Looking closer, it almost looks like it was an attempt to fill in holes in the wallpaper with some sort of spackle, maybe? Either way, it looked awful and dirty- surely there’s a better solution! The hotel is clean. Front desk was great. Very friendly guy with a great attitude. Wish I could remember his name, he deserves the acknowledgement. Bed was comfortable. Im one of those people that walk thru the room, pull back the covers before I even settle. It passed. Haven't made it to breakfast yet. So can't speak on it. Basically, this was a reasonably priced room, not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Expectations should be based on that. Park and fly is available at a small fee. I was comfortable. Oh, my only complaint, they are absolutely killing me with the price of a can of coke. 3.25 each. Should have picked one up before, my bad.

Check in was easy and the clerk was super friendly and helpful. I had never stayed at Cambria and was a little hesitant. Could not have been happier with the experience. Room was clean and bathroom was stocked with amenities. Breakfast was a nice bonus - hot and cold options. I will definitely stay here when flying in/out of Raleigh.

Stayed at Cambria for 2 different nights did the park and fly in addition to the stays. The staff was exceptional very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to give all the information necessary. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, along with the areas of hotel I visited. The breakfast was included with the stay which was good for the price. Food hot , stocked accordingly. I would highly recommend this hotel, the shuttle to airport was also included which was the exact travel time needed to get to the airport on time

The location is great if u need something close to the airport. The airport shuttle never showed up despite calling the hotel 8 times 2 were answered and the rest were ignored when wanted to ask for updates about the shuttle while i was standing in the freezing cold, no one answered! The check in process was painfully long, with no avail, because the next day someone opened my room while I was changing!! Because the check-in process was not successful, and the system showed that I was a no-show!!! The hot breakfast was decent. The rooms were outdated, An average level of Cleanliness!! The room is set up for office work, but the light is definitely not It’s very dim and hard to light up the room completely!!!
