The rooms were in a state of disarray. It was evident that they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. While I always disinfect and sanitize the rooms I stay in, it would have been appreciated if the staff had ensured that the rooms were clean upon my arrival. The bathroom door had a noticeable hole that had been patched up, giving it a tacky appearance. The shower floor grooves were dirty, and there was hair in the bathroom. Stains were present on the carpet and the couch, and wrappers were left in the room. The window seal had various stains, and the lamp shade was bent and worn out??? Overall, the room was in a state of disarray. Apart from the bed being made and the mirror being cleaned with Windex, it was a disappointing stay. Despite the unpleasant conditions, I gave it two stars because th

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. It feels safe to be there. But, the room was very lacking. First, we went to take a shower and had to use the hand soap because both the body wash and shampoo were empty. Second, I am still having issues with my hip and back from sleeping on the mattress. There is no padding left on the mattress and you can feel the springs. Third, the shower caulking needs to be redone. It has mold spots. Lastly, the room is only cleaned at eye level. The top shelf on the room divider has a red vase that has not been dusted in quite a while.

Overall, we had no issues with the staff who were very friendly or the room which met all of our needs. However, more transparency about parking would be appreciated in the future. We paid $50 to park in the garage attached to the hotel and PPG Paints Arena to attend a Penguins game not knowing that we would also incur an additional $32 fee for parking on the hotel level of the same garage which is only accessible through a separate gate. Offering earlier access to at least the hotel parking area (we did inquire about earlier check-in and were advised this could not be guaranteed) would have been more ideal rather than having to pay to park in the same garage twice.

Rooms were nice and large, plenty of room and quiet. Bed & pillows were comfortable, although it had a creaking sound to it if you rolled over or got in and out of bed. Could’ve been cleaner, but it is what it is. It could definitely use some updates. Mini fridge had a hard time keeping closed, but would close. The thicker part of the curtain was broke, but was able to move the other 2 layers to prevent light into room. The closet door looked like it was ready to come off track, we left it alone, didn’t use the closet. Front desk staff were wonderful and polite.

This is Pittsburgh. Tired and grumpy. There are good things... Mostly the location. Everything is extra: parking, breakfast, snacks, you name it. There is no such thing as complimentary in the city. If you want to walk 2 minutes from the stadium to the hotel, this is your place. If you want a pleasant vacation, look elsewhere. Our room was clean enough. But it's tired. Just old and unkempt. Like the city in general. Wallpaper is parking, ceilings are stained and cracked, rust and dust crusted on anything metal. The walls are thin, you can hear normal volume conversations next door like they are in the room. The bath tub drain was broken so we couldn't drain the tub. The front desk said "they are all different, you just have to figure it out." Obviously I'm not stupid, we tried every way a
