Cambria Hotel Columbia Downtown the Vista

My family recently stayed here and this was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at. Not to mention very well decorated! From the time you walk in everything is very well thought out. It had several modern upgrades like a digital Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom! The beds were comfy and the front desk staff very friendly. We had a great experience here and will be back!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The hotel was spotless — everything from the lobby to the guest rooms was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The modern design gave it a fresh, welcoming feel without being over the top. The staff truly made the experience outstanding. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. I also appreciated the little touches, smooth check-in, quiet halls, and thoughtful amenities that made the stay even better. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and well-run hotel.

I along with many colleagues spent two nights at this hotel and every person had the same sentiments. We all said it felt like the chick -fil -a of hotels. The valet attendants were professional and working hard to keep up with the flow of arrivals. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and welcoming. Even the bartender and housekeepers were a joy. You can tell that the company takes care of their staff because of the level of service they provide to each in every guest. Most of our time was spent in the conference room where we had our own personal attendant to he ensure the meals, refreshments and clean up were attended to Ms.Fran (Please forgive me if I’m mispronouncing the name) She was a heaven sent! Enjoyed an NYE staycation. Suite was spacious and at midnight I walked to the front hotel entrance, looked up and watched the fireworks over the State House...very convenient. I loved the upgraded linens and bathroom towels, which were thick, soft and had a matching Grey aesthetic instead of the usual white. The ability to play music via the TV and bathroom mirror were also nice. I received two bottles of water and the convenience of text messaging any service request or questions during my stay. Location is top tier and in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Will be back 🩶

Not the best, not the worst. The gentleman at the front desk needs to be replaced. He was exceptionally unpleasant each time we spoke with him. The room was not cleaned despite requesting it and leaving for several hours, however we were brought clean towels on request. They have a text service checking in on you throughout the stay which I thought was a nice touch. Room was quite clean, but did find one hair (not mine) on the tv remote so avoided touching or using that. Bed was comfortable and the ac worked well. Parking was $20 a day which was reasonable.
