Caddo Lake Hideaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at Caddo Lake Hideaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, cozy, and everything we needed. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Caddo Lake. If you’re passing by, this is the place to stay !

My wife and I spent a weekend (3 days) at the Caddo Lake Hideaway and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were quite friendly and made sure to check in on us throughout our time there to make sure we did not need anything. The cabin was clean and the binder on the table had a list of recommendations for restaurants and things to do while we were there. We also rented the kayaks for a few hours to go explore the lake. Overall we would stay here again!

What a great little get away. May 2025 and the price is $69 a night. Less than half of what others are charging in the area. The hosts are a sweet couple that seem to have thought about all your needs. Of course they have soaps and shampoos in the sparkling clean and nicely decorated bathroom, but they had a full can of Folgers coffee beside the coffee maker. Internet TV plus local channels along with a selection of DVDs, Monopoly and cards to play with. The front covered deck is warm and inviting and has plenty of citronella candles to keep the flying critters away. Just sitting out and listening to the birds, and forest creatures was quite enjoyable. We plan on coming back as does everyone else that has ever been here.

This is a very cute, clean, quiet cabin. Check in was easy and the room so welcoming. Sitting on the porch in this quiet setting was so much fun while watching and listening to all the beautiful hummingbirds, cardinals and blue jays. The hosts are lovely to visit with, we are looking forward to returning.

Bill and Mary were friendly and proactive from the start. Their detailed instructions made everything easy and straightforward - check-in was very clear, and we had everything we needed to cook and clean with the outdoor cooking area. The fire pit was great and the space was very comfy/cozy. Location was perfect for our first visit to Caddo Lake State Park - walkable to the National Wildlife refuge, and a 5 minute drive to the park. Amazing price - we would definitely stay here again!
