Backwater Jacks

I absolutely loved my stay at Backwater Jack’s cabins! The cabin was spotless and very well-maintained, which made it feel so comfortable and inviting. It was spacious, giving plenty of room to relax and enjoy the time away. The views were breathtaking and added so much to the experience. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. I highly recommend these cabins to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and beautiful place to stay!

Absolutely one of our new favorite rv parks. It’s low frills, bathrooms were perfect. What we loved about it was the full timers. Sometimes they aren’t so welcoming to weekenders, but these guys made it feel like a big family function without realizing it. Also, odie (the next door puppy) definitely deserved mentioning for his sweet rambunctious behavior. Saturday everyone was out milling about with music playing ( never too loud) kids playing, everyone chattering., but by 8:30 it was quiet! Having a boat ramp to drop the canoes in from our site basically was a huge plus.

Great place! I’m a recreational kayaker and this is definitely my favorite place to go. There’s parking in the shade, maps, and a super easy to use boat launch. It’s 5$ to launch which I find super reasonable. The lady behind the desk was pretty helpful too!

Perfect spot to put in a kayak. $5 put in fee included parking and access to restrooms with shower. Staff gave us a map of the water trails. Had a nice 1.5 hr paddle. Will be back!
