Cabana Hotel Bronx

I didn’t want to write this review because my momma said if I don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. However, I feel it is important to share in case any other young families are in search of a hotel. This is my advice: don’t stay here. Save up some money and stay somewhere decent. This hotel is used exactly as it is meant to be used - as a pay by the hour. It is not meant for family vacations. The water is lukewarm at best. The floors are really dirty. I mean, reeeeally dirty. I brought my own Clorox wipes and as I was cleaning the room, the wipes were clearly soiled. I also found a used dental pick under the telephone. I loved this hotel clean spotless cleaning staff is available 24 hours for all your needs the front desk is always there to answer any questions the guests are quite and the hotel is peaceful the beds are perfectly dressed with soft linens and pillows there is a refrigator and a powerful air conditioner the TV is large and brand new I will definitely be back

Avoid this property – Serious health and safety issues Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, the room was in unacceptable and unsanitary condition, including blood stains on the floor, food on the bed, and clear signs of bedbugs. Because of this, we were unable to stay at the hotel, especially since we were traveling with a one-year-old child. The front desk acknowledged the issue, and Booking.com was contacted immediately from the property. What followed was over a month of back-and-forth with no resolution, despite written confirmation that a refund would be processed. Initially, I was not going to leave a bad review. It's a CHEAP hotel in NYC, so you go in expecting cheap hotel and it is what it is. The rooms are dirty, but you expect that. It's sketchy inside, but you expect that. None of these things were the issues I had.. because while dirty, there were no bugs, so that was my biggest concern with cleanliness. The room was clean enough to sleep comfortably. The girl at the front desk who checked us in was very kind. My issues and reasoning for the 1 star review were that... I reached out over a week before check in saying that I needed a handicap accessible room.
