Budget Motor Inn - Petersburg / Fort Lee

So I stayed here for two nights this week. Visiting family etc the usual reason to stay in a hotel. Walked in immediately had roaches running out the door handle. Stomped them to help with the local population. Second had to get toilet paper because they didn't have any on the roll after taking a massive dump. So I had to walk up to the front with poop extending between my legs. No one was at the desk and they had this old telephone sitting there. It rung for like 40 secs when she finally answered. I told her needed toilet paper. While I waited they had a bunch of signs no kids out playing after 7pm. Pets cost 10 per extra, adults 5, kids over 13 years old, supplies won't be given to weekly guest etc. a lot of rules just to stay at this place. Anyways she showed up gave me toilet paper. We

The rooms have roaches, the sheets and pillows weren’t clean, people at the front desk are rude and will steal your money. Would not recommend to a person I genuinely hate.

I am very impressed with the improvements budget has made recently. The best thing for me was there are NO ROACHES!!! that made me the happiest women EVER! There is not a single low priced motel in this or the surrounding areas that is not infested with roaches. The building looks so much better in the blue they painted it and even the rooms had their minor repairs and upkeep done.great job best inn I think u r one of the best low end motels in the Petersburg area along with motel 6 and super 8. The Price has gone up slightly but in these times it's understandable. i would def.recommend

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in. Floors were filthy, sink drain leaked onto the floor. No shower curtain. Sink and tub dirty. Electric at the sink didn’t work. Baseboards were missing, doors with chucks of wood off the bottom. It was late, other hotels were full. So, I dealt with it. Slept with my clothes on, etc. and, the owner/manager didn’t care. definitely reporting them to the health department. I wouldn’t give them any star..

This is a solid negative 1 star review. There is mold in the walls, white stains all in the carpet, no drawers, no towels or toilet paper, cigarette burns on everything. Completely uncomfortable but first place I seen and had to take a break. Their signs say no refunds and you can see room if you wish, I assumed it would be at least decent or to standard. I was so wrong to assume. Please do not waste your night here, you are literally better off in general to stay in your car at a rest stop
