Budget Inn St. Petersburg

This hotel is actually incredibly accommodating. From the incredible customer service that April gave me to the very clean and quiet room I'd totally come back here. They are going through massive renovation but it did not in any way effect my stay. The rooms are modern with nice bathrooms and everything new. Give this place a chance and I'm sure you will find it as nice and economical as I did. Thank you to the staff here for a great 4 night stay.

Shady, rude woman at front desk. When I tried to check in she was requiring a $50 cash deposit from all guests, making them leave and come back with the cash. I inquired as to why she couldn't just put a hold on my CC, and if they have to inspect the room before I could get it back. She refused to answer. All I had was credit card, with no ability to get cash, so I was told to vacate the lobby and that I could not get a refund for my $96.16 for one night. When I explained that was all the money I had, she smiled and said, "no refunds". Stay away from this location. Look at the photos other guests have posted of the rooms, they are disgusting. Why $50 cash.......? I have conatced the Better Business Bureau as well.

Get people working in the office. The maids were always working everyday to give what ever was needed. The property is being renovated, but the noise isn't to bad. The property has cameras front and back parking lot. Which was very nice, especially because I was traveling alone. I WISH I would have stayed there sooner, rather than the roach, bed bug motel I stayed before it. They also have WiFi,is just not secured. Thank you Budget inn staff. Your all AWESOME!!!

They told me I smoked cigarettes in the room when I never put a cigarette to my lips ever in my life. The entire staff smokes cigarettes… how would they REALLY be able to tell anyway? Roaches are prominent in the room as well.
