They charged my card for a deposit of 100 dollars because 1 towel was dirty and wouldn't come clean. Towels don't cost 100 dollars. They are scammers. There is no reason to charge someone 100 dollars for a dirty towel. The room was fantastic until they ripped me off. In response to your response: Dear Budget Inn, Youve been reported to the better business bureau and yet to respond, youve been asked by my booking agent to respond to the 100 dollar charge for towels, which you only provided 2 towels. So how expensive are your towels.? Have you ever used soap or laundry detergent on your towels? Or better yet; bleach? There is no way that the dirt on the one towel didn't come out. I placed a reservation through priceline for the 1st time and won't be using this site ever again. When placing the reservation I selected date and then number of people etc, somehow through all the widows the dates reverted to the current date. After reviewing my email confirmation and realizing the date was changed, i called priceline who referred me to the hotel and told to call them directly, which i did, and was told they couldnt help me because it was booked through priceline, and referred me back to priceline. After calling both the hotel and priceline and explaining the issue that the date was defaulted back to current date after being directed through multiple windows during the booking process, and how the reservation was made within the hour, no one would allow for a change to

When we arrived the man in the office was not friendly. My husband ask if he had some coffee made? He didn't answer him. And he said something about how early I had booked, I told him I book early so I know I can get a room where I want. He did say, well that's alright. As for as the room it was clean, with toaster oven & coffee pot combined, Microwave & frig. Very nice shower. Floor was a bit squeaky.

Great caution is advised – they simply withdraw money from your account after your stay. I stayed at the Budget Inn Hotel 118 W 4th St, The Dalles, OR 97058 in The Dalles from 05/25 to 06/25/2025. Now, on 07/31/2025, the shock: they have withdrawn another $300! Despite several inquiries, since the manager is apparently on vacation, I still have not received any response. I am not the only one this has happened to, so people, be very careful. I am now going to the police to file a report.
