Budget Inn

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most outrageously unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve ever had. After a long drive back from Chicago, I walked into a lobby with the door open and the “open” sign lit — and no one at the front desk. I rang the bell repeatedly and stood there wondering if anyone actually worked there. After getting nowhere, I contacted Expedia, and only after sitting in my car for over 30 minutes did someone finally appear. Instead of an apology or even basic courtesy, I was met with immediate hostility and told, “I don’t know where you got that price from,” despite having a confirmed reservation. The interaction felt combative, dismissive, and completely devoid of professionalism — as if helping a guest was some kind of burden. There was no ownership, no account

I was looking for a cheap place sleep for the night, in this place came up in my search. Without reading any reviews, I booked it. The property is well kept, the rooms are a good size and even though they are a little dated, which doesn't bother me one bit, everything was clean. The hotel staff was nice enough. If I'm in the area, I would not hesitate to stay here again! ||They are a little light on the amenities, but that is not one of my higher priorities when I'm traveling.

This place has never heard of equal access for handicapped. No grab bars on tub , toilet. The shower handles are impossible to reach when using the bath. Miracle I am still able to move after that experience. No part of this place is handicapped accessible. Warnings should be posted so that people know this place could easily put you in a compromising position. There is nothing quaint about not following rules.

Clean rooms, clean bedding and clean bathroom. Bug free and clean linen daily.. reasonably priced. Yes it's a bit older but you can tell that it's been very well taken care of.. Everyone was very friendly.. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something that isn't overly priced , this is for y'all.. friendly atmosphere and close to town and the interstate.. I definitely give them a 5 Star rating,, because for the price you can't ask for anything more. I've stayed in some so called 5 Star hotel,/ motel's and they weren't even close to being as clean as they are here.. js. It's clean, bug free, close to everything and everyone is friendly. And priced well. Didn't have to break the bank or give my arm or leg just to stay a night..
