Budget Inn-Apopka

I paid $100 for the night. The floors made my feet black. The toilet periodically would run. The fixtures on the walls are rusted. The curtains don't keep out all of the light. The pillows are only big enough for a child's head. Thankfully we were there for one night. We did not use the shower (for one night, I'll use mine at home). The soap that they provide to wash your hands - dries them out instantly. Every time I washed my hands, I had to put on hand lotion (that they provided) just to get moisture back. I've never seen a soap dry out your hands that bad ever. Would I stay here again? If I had to, probably. I didn't see any bugs (or I would have slept in the car). The bed was "meh". The AC was cold (thank goodness). The hotel seemed pretty empty as there were very few cars in the park

I came to the Budget Inn in Apopka to visit a few friends who were, for some reason, staying here for the night. They were looking for a room last minute that was cheap and was only going to be used for a few hours before they checked in somewhere else. However, I was instantly confused when I pulled up in the lot as to why they decided to get the room at all. It is definitely..."budget" friendly...to say the least. The roaches were the worst part. After spotting one, I jumped up, only to be greeted by several more on an opposite wall. That was my cue to go. This sealed my decision to never return...for any reason, no matter how temporary.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The biggest issue was the strong smoke smell in my room, despite it being non-smoking. It was overwhelming and made the stay uncomfortable.||||The cleanliness was also lacking—the floor was visibly dirty, as if it hadn’t been properly vacuumed or mopped in a while. This made me question the overall hygiene of the room.||||Noise was another major problem. The hotel is in an extremely busy area, and the thin walls and poor insulation meant I could hear everything happening in the parking lot, even in the middle of the night. It was nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep with constant noise from car doors slamming, people talking, and other disturbances.||||Finally, the breakfast selection was disappointing. It was a great stay , it was close to my family didn’t have to travel far to visit family I am also from Apopka , so it was great to visit family again

We had a really nice time! The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. Maybe a thicker blanket would have been nice. The pool was cold and refreshing after a hot day.
