Budget Host Inn Manistique

We get to the motel and there are no other cars other than the person behind the desk. That was a bad sign to begin with. She left after we got here and we couldn't get a hold of anybody. I asked for extra pillows and she didn't have any. I figured since there was a bunch of empty rooms she could get a couple from and spare room. And she said she couldn't. I asked her if we could get our money back because I needed more pillows and she said I couldn't. She said it was renovated so they got rid of all their old pillows and didn't get any extra. There's no Continental breakfast here. Just coffee. And she was quite snotty about the whole situation

was a good pit stop, room was nicely setup, comfy bed, there was a little fridge|not far from the casino , went over there for a dinner and made a donation to the local economy|slept well

Don’t let the exterior fool you. I stayed there before the change in ownership and it was a nice place to stay then. Dated, but clean. Now the rooms have been updated. Hopefully the cost won’t rise as a result. I stayed there the evening of 6/20/2025 and the bed was super comfortable and the room was nice. There were USB ports on the lamps, (nice touch) but the mirror in the bathroom was tiny and the mini fridge didn’t get cold. Since I was only staying the night (passing through), it was no big deal.

I planned on 2 nights and ended up staying 2 weeks. The rooms are so nice we really enjoyed staying here, Very clean and comfortable. The people who take care of this place are absolutely some of the nicest people I ever met. Thank you all 😊

My friend and I were passing thru this area and needed a place to stay for the night. We stopped here. The front desk lady was so nice and very friendly. She told us this motel was recently remodeled and recently reopened. |The room we had was very clean and smelled new. Bathroom sparkled. Nice king bed. Larger fridge than some other motels we've stayed at. Close to the casino if that's your thing. Coffee and bagels available in the morning. Decent price. Asked if there was a military discount. She provided a discount. We'd definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
