Bubble Terlingua

They look good and the idea is fun but one of the bubbles we were staying in collapsed overnight. They are tired and poorly provisioned. There is a bbq but no plates, cutlery or even a bottle opener. The promised information folder wasn't available, the beds are uncomfortable and a member of staff said they couldn't wait to get rid of them.

This was an extremely unique experience! Fairly remote location and extremely dark skies makes it an ideal location for stargazing. Also, could see the stars from the bed due to the clear plastic top! Private hot tub, grill, and fireplace. Beautiful spot for viewing the sunset as well.

Our tent bubble 4 was broken. It made a very loud jackhammer noise every 20 minutes all nights for 2 nights. Impossible to sleep through. Maintenance did not attempt to fix it even though we requested. Tent was falling apart. Hot tub was dirty. Do not recommend.

This was our first summer vacation with our 4 and 6 year old. I grew up coming to this part of Texas many times and I wanted my babies to experience Texas’s best kept secret! We chose to stay 3 nights to see how our kiddos would do. Upon arrival it was magical. The bubble tents looked as advertised. My kids fell in love. We came during mid-June so it was hot but bearable in the morning and nights. Close enough (literally like 10 minutes) to Big Bend National Park where we spent our morning and afternoons. We came back to the bubble in the late afternoons to enjoy the pool and eat dinner by the campfire. The bubbles were air conditioned well and comfortable at night. When arrived, I was totally impressed. Beautiful location. Great Bubble. And so much privacy. Wow. Unfortunately there was a storm in the evening and there, the negative began. The Bubble not only collapsed, but also was totally damaged. After several calls to an answering machine, we finally got a person on the phone. But no appologizes at all! They send us to a Tipi which was already occupied! And another one which was dirty and not at all ready for guests. We ended up, searching for another room because there was no help from the Bubble Team. And the best, no refund! Oh, there is a note on our website, telling you about weather!
