Blackwell Island RV Resort

At first I wasn’t sure about this RV park because it kind of felt like stadium parking but I loved it after staying here. It was right on the lake so easy access for paddle boarding or just chilling on the beach. There was an area where our dog could swim also. Laundry was clean, reasonably cost and open 24 hours. Very close drive to downtown shopping and restaurants

The location is amazing...right on the lake. The views are wonderful. Well maintained park, big spaces and clean. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier, they seemed to be in a hurry to get you out of the office. Nice boat dock and a few small ponds. Lots of flowers.

Nice RV park on the river. A fair bit of highway noise during the day but it settles down at night. The desk help is what I mostly want to talk about. We were in CDA for a medical visit. We arrived on Tuesday, the day prior to the appointment and set up. Next day (Wednesday) was the visit but a follow up appointment was needed for Thursday. The desk was very accommodating and allowed us to stay another night even though we didn't have reservations. Normal checkout time is 10 A.M. but the inpatient procedure was going to take a bit longer, so I asked if we could stay past the checkout time, maybe as long as 3 or 4 hours. This place is not worth the money. I paid $90 for one night to park on a gravel strip. Worse, the “grass” next to my spot was mostly weeds, which caused stickers to come into the trailer on the bottom of my feet.. The rules are strict. Like “no bike riding after sunset”, and in a dark tone. The guy at the front desk was not very friendly.

Little ways off the freeway, but easy access. Checking in was quick and efficient and staff was friendly enough. Has lots of open area in a park setting complete with creeks and bubbling fountains. Resort is right i’m at Coeur d’Alene river so easy access to fishing boating, and they have a swimming lagoon. They have a large clubhouse for big family gatherings, etc. Besides your spaced out far enough that you don’t feel like you’re sharing space with the neighbor. Although I only did one night stop over I would certainly consider coming back for a longer stay.
