Big Pines RV Park

The sites are well maintained and spacious. The bathroom/ showers are clean and individual. Great play area, walking path to a small river and fish cleaning area. We saw several deer walking in the Campground.

This place is absolutely fantastic. If no one told you you were right in the center of town, you'd never know it. There is lots of space between campers and camp spaces. The camp hosts are very helpful and nice. The whole place is very serene and the facilities are fantastic. We will definitely be back. We are writing this review as we sit in front of our campfire for our last night here.

First impression when we drove up was it was very pretty and peaceful. But it was a different check in process. The lady was sitting on the deck outside the office and didn't ask or name but said what site we were in. She took us to the site and helped us back in. I asked if I needed to go to the office for any information etc. She said no and drove off. It is my fault for not insisting that we go to the office. We were given no wifi code, we had no idea where bathrooms and showers were, no idea where trash went, nothing. It appeared that almost all of the RVs were either permanent or seasonal. We figured since we were one night it wasn't important for them to make sure we had all the information needed. That was definitely a first for us. We had to go walk around to figure things out. Our

Beautiful campground! We stayed 2 nights on our way up to Voyageurs NP. Very large sites give you the feeling of privacy. Big trees everywhere and plenty of shade - never put the awning out. Great firepits! Hosts were great and helped me park the rig (always appreciated!) Easy drive to Itasca State Park for a day trip. Highly Recommend!

Overall we enjoyed our stay for a week/over July 4th. There is plenty of space in between sites. Wifi worked great. Super clean facilities. It seems that a large portion of the park is seasonal guests. Nicest park in the surrounding area. Manager was very nice. Only Con: We have a 40ft FW- they really need to escort the large rigs to their sites because their map is not geometrically correct plus there are lots of trees to maneuver thru with tight turns.
