Best Western Plus Sandusky Hotel & Suites

stayed here last weekend and was very impressed. front desk was nice, everything was so clean, and the location is great. the breakfast was really good as well! this hotel has a certain charm to it, i will say. i loved the calming therapy pool in the basement. the doors to the rooms are also very thick and soundproofed well. the bathrooms are pretty big, and the room smelled really nice. will be staying here again if i am back in sandusky.

Positive: Hotel was clean, location was good and the extra seating area in the Suite was nice. Negative: Scrambled eggs at breakfast were some of the worst I've had. Also, a luggage rack in the closet would have been nice. There was only a place to set one bag.

Me and my wife where look for a hotel to day the night come back from Syracuse to Appleton Wisconsin. I found this this hotel on Priceline. The price looked good and so did the pictures. Our room was 203. When checking in the front staff was so nice. We where joking around like we where friends. Me and my wife has a room with 2 beds. The room was like business class. The room had a desk couch 2 beds and dresser. The room was really big for just me and my wife. After getting ready this morning I saw that the shower handle was broken but still useable. This is the only complaint I have. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sandusky Ohio.

We stayed two nights and the hotel was perfect for a launching point for Cedar Point. You can tell the hotel is old and probably needs to be refurbished, but it was clean and in a good location. The bed mattresses were kind of U-shaped so they could benefit from a replacement as well. Breakfast area was very small and difficult to navigate with all the other guests in there at the same time. If you're just looking for a place to sleep while you're out adventuring all day, this is your place.

Our stay was great. Our room was a 9/10 for cleanliness. There were some gross a-tips behind the night stand, and some stains on the curtains. The room as a little musty smell. Other than that, our jacuzzi was working great, the floors were vacuumed and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffet was a little on the smaller side but great for a hotel. Disappointed you couldn’t make waffles on Sunday morning tho. Just cereal and scrambled eggs. Definitely would stay again. Staff was nice and helpful.
