Best Western Louisville Airport Expo

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good. This place actually mailed our postcards which no where else did. Was not aware that they don't clean the room daily and had to scramble to get towels.

So we booked here due to convenience. Close to the Expo Center. Reasonable charge, easy to access. Room was clean. Quiet throughout the night. No problems with the room - all good (except we didnt like the bathroom light being attached to room light - it wasnt good planning for bathroom trips in the middle of the night - woke everyone else up. Biggest issue was breakfast. Told it was 7 - 10. I specifically asked if that changed over the weekend. Told no - breakfast starts at 7. We were disappointed because we had to leave the hotel for event earlier than 7. Bought our own breakfast food. Imagine our surprise when we went to the car at 6 30am and the dining room was open - people eating breakfast. They need to clarify their dining room hrs. Not pleased about that but the rest of

Positive: The convenience, the spacious room, the amenities in the room,the airport transport. Negative: I couldn't get hot water late in lobby when a certain worker is working i believe i read coffee in lobby 24 hrs

Overall, our 2 nights at this hotel were okay- the hotel was clean, our room was clean, and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast and parking. At check in, we were not recognized as Best Western Platinum Rewards members. The employee was not wearing a name tag, she seemed annoyed that we asked for her name. 'Candace' proceeded to tell us that Platinum Reward members no longer receive recognition. Our room was spacious with nice, cold air-conditioning and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. However, the shower did not drain and was very slippery even though there was a sticker in the shower stating that it was supposed to be safe (see pic). We loved the double sink vanity! There was not an alarm clock in the room and the bed linens were worn and our bed blanket

Very comfortable rooms with a nice morning breakfast to get you started for the day of travel. Very close to the airport and the reason we chose this property. It looked at first to be in a dodgy area but that was not to be a concern. There were adequate restaurants just down the street for an evening meal. Friendly staff and clean property.
