Best Western Kirkwood Inn

Everything was great for what we’ve paid. Been there twice and the rooms are very clean, no bad smell, and they have balkonies! Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had eggs, sausages, biscuits, toasts, beagles, muffins, coffee, tee, hot chocolate, juices, pancake maker, cereals, milk etc! Location great, free parking. All in all good for its price

Positive: I stay here quite a bit throughout the year because it’s central to where I need to go…… hotel employee and whoever else I come into contact with when I’m there is always so pleasant! Negative: The just the dust chairs need to be recovered….. and it is sometimes dusty. However, as in all hotels, I stay it’s pretty obvious they’re shortstaffed.

I very pleasantly surprised by this lovely Best Western on a Route 66 road trip. Beautiful modern chandeliers as you walk in the lobby with lovely high ceilings in an atrium style entrance. Plenty of parking and bell carts to bring luggage to guestrooms. Spacious room that was exceptionally clean. A very nice well stocked breakfast on the second floor. Next to breakfast is a walkway that takes you to the restaurant Chili's, which is nice, not having to walk outside during cold winter months. The area is very safe with lots of shopping restaurants. For coffee lovers a Dunkin & starbucks steps away. Great Route 66 stop for the weary traveler minutes off the highway.

Clean updated hotel in a convenient location next to shopping and dining. The bathrooms in the rooms are the only thing I can say still need a little updating, but it’s not an issue. They are clean regardless. I’ve stayed here twice while traveling to the St. Louis area and I would stay here again. Friendly staff, good breakfast options and safe location.

The gentleman that chucked me in was very friendly. I stay at this hotel often for my overnight stay when I travel from Erie, Pennsylvania to Pittsburg, Kansas. He was a new guy I had not met him before. I made the reservation via telephone while I was driving. It was a very easy process to check in was very easy. My room was comfortable and clean. The only thing that I don’t like about this hotel is that they don’t have microwaves in the room and I like to heat up my coffee in the morning and heat up my own food and you have to go to the second floor to use the microwave.Other than that the service is always friendly and it is super easy because it is just off of I 44 highway.
