Customer Reviews
This horizon inn has a very charming look. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and very sweet. She acted like she really cared about us and having a good room. The room itself was okay except for two things. One- the electrical was really weird and there were no plug-ins beside the bed on the table between the beds. There was one plug-in on the wall but it only worked if the overhead light was on. So we had to screw out the light bulbs on the overhead light just to make the plug-in work. Also, the bed was very very firm and I prefer it not to be hard as a rock. But it's a really cute place to stay and there's a black bear diner right close to it eating out.
It was a great value , and comfortable bed. Shower was hot and nice towels. Staff moved us to a different room when we noticed the heater was broken
I still haven't recieved my deposit of $100 and i checked out over one week ago!! The guys were really helpful and kind helped me get a room i was comfortable with it's clean and I slept well cleaner left the door open when she left which was weird but that wouldn't ruin my stay could be nicer to guest's nice scene from room 254 facing the cliffs has a jacuzzi but i didn't use it cos it's outside . Breakfast was fine biscuits and scrambled egg it has slightly haunted vibe tho in the bathroom area for sure.
Positive: The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. Negative: It is winter, temps are in low 30s and only a very, very thin blanket on the bed AND no others in the room. Plus the door lacked weather stripping.
Rooms are outdated but clean. Water pressure was surprisingly good and the towels/sheets (although hotel grade) were softer than the Hilton we stayed at the night before. My main issue with the hotel is the walls are THIN. We could hear are neighbors talking at normal volume and could hear every car in the lot start in the morning. About 7a we gave up on sleeping from the intermittent laughing next door. Our neighbors were not being excessively loud, the walls are just very very thin.
