Best Western Historic Bayfront

We had such a great stay!!!! This was our 1st time staying here as the old hotel we use to stay at changed mgmt and we needed a new place. We had often walked past here wondering how much it was so we decided to give it a try. To our pleasant surprise it was the same price as our last place with 10x better Location and staff. The checkin/checkout process was easy, the rooms were clean and stocked. There is a coffee maker in the room but it's not a Keurig, it's one of the smaller ones and you have to use their coffee. The shower was hot and felt fantastic on my back after walking around all day. I can't comment on the soaps as I have allergies and travel with my own items but they looked like they smelled nice. Perfect location for historic St Augustine. Everything walking distance. Food, shops, bars, trolley tours. Trolley picks up/drops off right in front of hotel. Staff was amazing. Javon was so sweet. Couldn't get the soda machine to take our cards, he surprised me with the soda I wanted 10 minutes later. Everyone was warm and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!!

Just got back from a wonderful little vacay, where we stayed at the Best Western Historic Bayfront in St Augustine, Florida. Everything about it was PERFECT, and I am so looking forward to going there again! From the minute we walked into the office to check in, I knew that this was the right place. The receptionist there was as nice as could be, and answered any questions that we had. Our room was great, and it couldn’t have been located any better! We were minutes from anything we might want to do; from the restaurants to all the wonderful little shops in town! The tram to sightsee was right outside our front door, so that was an extra added bonus! I highly recommend this hotel; and when we go back, I know where we will be staying!

Not a clean hotel at all. We got our room and the floors were so dirty that our feet got black. Hair in the shower from previous guests. We stayed 3 nights. We went out all day one day and upon our return the only thing done was emptying the trash cans, removing old towels and replacing them. Nobody cleaned our room or made our beds. There is no breakfast (which we were aware of) and the rooms are extremely small if u have 2+ kids. We stayed because of the proximity to the Nights of Lights, but since we paid $25 per day per parking, we should have gotten a better hotel within the area and just pay for parking close by. It would have been just fine. This one was our first time in St Augustine. We will return, but not in this hotel.
