Best Western East Towne Suites

Joe gave excellent customer service. I had to cancel a reservation due to my guest getting covid. He not only took care to cancel with Travelocity, but he reassured me their hotel policy was a 24 hour cancelation policy. Joe also was personable, empathetic, and quick. Thank you, Joe.

There wasn’t anything necessarily wrong with the hotel - it did its job as a clean, safe place to sleep and hang out while we were visiting for a weekend. However, the rooms were definitely not well taken care of (large chips in the wall, cracks near door frame, older mattress on bed, hallway didn’t smell fresh) and the shower was slow to drain. Also, it was noisy room between people in the hallway and the random loud noises that the mini fridge made throughout the stay. However, the lobby and public area were nice and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was what you’d expect for a free continental breakfast (basic but fine). Overall - for the price it is a decent hotel and gets the job done but I wouldn’t stay here if you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel.

This place has gone downhill some. Womens bowling tournament 2/12-2/15, there were dealers in the hotel and the pkg lot..homeless people in the breakfast area, bathing in the lobby bathroom, we found drugs in the lobby bathroom. People would just let anyone in without ID, front desk didn't seem bothered by it. One of the women got surrounded by homeless people and threatened. Fly infested rooms with windows overed by them, dirty tubs and broken locks on adjoining rooms. Breakfast was a 5 of 10 and homeless people were there filling there bags with what they could. Neighborhood was really bad, in fact a few guys got arrested for dealing. People banging on hotel doors at 5am insisting to be let it and following women around. I was a bit hesitant after seeing some negative reviews, but overall, I would say this hotel is a solid choice. Yes, it is not new, but a lot of it has been refreshed, and it is generally clean. Yes, the doors have some dings and dents, but they are solid, and the general construction is solid, so it is remarkably peaceful (important to know given its proximity to a busy interstate highway and busy local roads). Yes, some caulk was applied inelegantly in the bathroom, but it was clean, and the shower's temperature and pressure were great. Breakfast choices were many, and coffee is available in the lobby around the clock.
