Best Western Chocolate Inn at the Park

The front desk staff was very friendly and personable. The hotel is close to The Hershey attractions and the park is easy to get to. The hotel however is amid renovations so there was a lot of construction dirt and debris throughout the areas we were. There was also a pungent odor of what seemed to be generator exhaust that waved throughout the hallways and elevator. I find the prices to be high in exchange for what is offered

It was a mixed bag....First problem was getting to the hotel. Signage was fine off the highway but then it is an unmarked driveway and even tho we could see the hotel, we couldnt get to it andended up calling the hotel desk as our GPS was no help. For traditional network TV watchers, CBS is unavailable and tv channels do not correspond to card in room. Due to forecasted snow, w found the staff extremely helpful. Room was perfectly clean but heater an refrigerator were noisy. Breakfast was fine for its type. We slept well.

I checked into this hotel with a volleyball team so not my choice. The hotel is old and outdated but front desk staff were friendly and efficient. I get in the elevator that is completely scratched up, buttons not working, different colored panels like it was thrown together. I step off and the ceilings are completely exposed. Electrical outlets open, and water dripping. The hotel is under renovation and no one should be staying there. Many safety issues and concerns. We were not notified ahead of time if this construction as it was booked when it was the comfort inn. Bad all around.

Service was good and location was convenient, but cleanliness of the room was not good. Bug on the chair, suspicious brown stain on the comforter, weird stains on the walls and a dangling smoke alarm. There was also construction happening in the floors below us, jack hammering and vibrations were heard in the afternoon and morning of my stay. You get what you pay for
