Bennett Bay Inn

Wonderful place to stay! The view is the best in my opinion! Rooms are themed with hot tubs, some without. My favorite I’ve yet to stay in has clouds for a ceiling. The owner is super sweet, my partner has known them a while. I love it out here, and with the price we get, it beats most places I think. You can walk around down here, I suggest more during the day, we are out more in the woods but very short drive around the corner of the lake. If you’re not super picky and looking for something to enjoy, I think it’s lovely. The owners are great and seem to always be running around. Dogs are welcome! 🤗they beat hotel 6 prices right now, and that’s were I was staying, and I have a microwave and fridge and actual tub now. We came for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Please don’t let the bad reviews keep you from checking this gem out. Full disclosure the reviews almost had us trying to find somewhere else to stay but I’m so glad we decided to give it a go. Yes it’s rustic and the rooms are dated (to be expected being the second oldest motel in Couer D’Alene) , however, the rooms are clean and quiet. Probably one of the only places I’ve stayed where I didn’t have a hard time falling asleep. The views are amazing and the couple who runs it are beautiful people. So friendly and accommodating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Bennet Bay Inn to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day and my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The location is stunning—peaceful, private, and incredibly romantic. You can really tell the property is being thoughtfully renovated; everything felt refreshed, well cared for, and intentionally designed while still keeping its charm. Our room was phenomenal—truly one of a kind and unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before. It was spotless, cozy, and set the tone for such a special getaway. The front desk staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only minor note is that the in-room hot tub could’ve been a bit warmer, but overall the experience was a solid 10/10. We left feeling relaxed and already excited to come back again. Hi

We stayed there and I love it! I live in cda and never new this was there. The staff were incredibly nice! I'd come back for a minivacation. The beds were comfortable. Close to Jimmy's down the street which you got to go if you stay here. Lol.
