Beds on Clouds - Catskill Lodging

We had a hard time finding a decently priced hotel during the weekend of peak foliage and almost-summer weather in October. The prices were outrageous and availability low. Beds on Clouds was the only reasonably priced place, but it had no recent reviews and many old reviews were pretty negative. We decided to take a chance on it and SO glad we did! What a charming little guest house decorated in a Victorian style. ||We stayed in the Sunrise room and it was simply lovely: clean, cozy, with a comfortable bed and many antique decor pieces that made it feel like we were staying at grandma’s house. In the morning it gets filled with sunshine, which gave it its name. I stay at chain hotels for work, so when I go on vacation, I crave the old-fashion, home-like feeling that only B&Bs provide. Thi

The co-owners (Rebecca and Sato) are extremely nice and friendly. She stayed up late to ensure we wouldn't get lost and to hand over our room key. Breakfast was a great addition and our room was very clean. Co-owners were very proud that the water was filtered through out and Sato's wonderful art. The location was extremely convenient.....less than a mile from the Windham resort. Overall, we had a great stay.

The decor certainly is quirky, but we loved it. The decor is very art deco and the furniture and fittings must have taken years to collect. Good sized rooms with great bathrooms. Friendly, knowledgable hosts who can't do enough for you. Four restaurants within 200 yards of the property mean you can leave your car behind when you go out for dinner. Individually cooked breakfasts, made fresh whenever you want. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here last minute for a wedding weekend. Our room was the Family Room and luckily we were able to check in super early to change for the church up the road. The room was decorated in a rustic victorian with one king bed and a twin bed for my daughter. There was a small table and a small tv, but it worked well. I have to say the bed SUPER comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. I will definitely book again. Although breakfast was not an option, we were centrally located to the pizzeria, diner, Tap Room and many other restaurants. Perfect location.

Our family of four stayed two nights at Beds on Clouds, while skiing at Windham. We had a great stay! Room was big enough for all of us. And it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Good shower too. Very close to restaurants for dinner take out. Breakfast was simple - and we also took it to go. Rebecca was a good host - although we were primarily skiing. We had a great trip! Thank you Rebecca!
