Wylder Hotel Windham, an SLH Hotel

The folks at Wylder Windham are the most helpful, amazing, organized, wonderful (the list goes on and on) team we have ever worked with. From the moment that we toured the venue, to our delicious wedding tasting, to the food and ambiance at the reception, to the accommodation of all the little requests made over the course of the weekend, to the hospitality they showed all of our closest friends and family, to the ease of check in and check out, they made our wedding perfect beyond words!||Every space at the resort is postcard worthy beautiful. They made it so easy to have our weekend of celebration all over the property. They let us keep the party going! The food at Wylder is mouth wateringly delicious. The place was absolutely magical. I brought my little puppy with me and he had the best time my niece got married this week. It was really phenomenal. I enjoyed myself so much. There were so many wonderful people to think but who comes to mine immediately was Robin and Sam. They were exceptional. They came to my room and helped me put . They were exceptional. They came to my room and helped me put my string on for my puppy so that he could look at television stream on for my puppy so that he could look at television. To just being so accommodating and so wonderful it was a really beautiful experience and I would definitely do it again and it gets all the stars. The location is stunning. The staff is absolutely opulently amazing it was really a gorgeous getaway and will be done again.

Visited this hotel for a weekend getaway during fall foliage season. The mountain and nature views are absolutely stunning – they definitely lived up to the hype. The hotel grounds are gorgeous as well! Pro tip: book amenities like the sauna and any hotel events in advance, as they fill up quickly if you try to reserve them day-of. Now for the breakdown: The Good: The rooms were spotless, the toiletry products were high-quality, and the location can’t be beat. The Bad: Unfortunately, the service fell short. I’ve seen other reviews praising the hospitality here, but my experience was the complete opposite. When we requested extra towels, it took over an hour for them to arrive. When I asked the concierge where we could get hot cider to enjoy outside, they directed us to a local farm inste

We came during a holiday weekend for 1 night, and for paying $800 for one night we would have expected better service. When we checked in, no one showed us to the separate house where our room was and no one offered to help with our bags. The entry way to the house was poorly lit and not what you would expect from a luxury hotel. The hotel is very spread out (also across a busy road) and the saunas are literally in a parking lot so you have to walk out across the road and there is nowhere to change or shower after. Also the hotel is definitely family friendly, so if you’re coming without kids just keep that in mind!

The Wylder Windham is the perfect Catskills escape. The property feels tucked away in its own little world, surrounded by quiet mountains and the prettiest views. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, the heated pool is open year-round, and the wood-fired saunas are such a cozy touch. There’s so much to do without ever leaving the property—pickleball, fire pits with s’mores, a great on-site bakery, and a delicious restaurant. Everything just feels peaceful, slow, and beautifully intentional. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and reset, this is a must-visit stay.
