Beckley's Motel

The guy in the store that checked me in was nice. I got to my room it smelled bad, everything looked really dingy, there's was 3 beds which I thought was weird, there's was a sink that was broken i guess and had plastic taped over it so i left. I didn't sit down or put my purse down or anything it was that gross. The guy was very understanding though and refunded me for the room.

Place is a dive. Your rechargeable items might not charge because they replaced 2 prong outlets with grounded outlets and didn't add a ground... Right next to a weed and alcohol store. Got your inner freak covered.

Ok, at first glance , it's off the beaten path , Stayed 2 nights. Let me tell you the owners are extremely nice, and hospitable. The rooms are dated. However, the room I am in, was very clean, has a kitchen, no bugs , and the bed s are extremely comfortable , with the toppers. There is a store on premises. Some of the tenants here are long term. The price is the lowest rate in Frederick area.

Don't know why this place gets a bad rap. Rooms are nice size and I have not seen anything other than regular house ants around. Owners are more than nice and don't hassle you at all. And by the way...it is rather convenient having a country liquor store within easy walking distance. Stop the hating...

Would be great it if mgmt responded to the requests for repairs or at least mine. Kitchen sink caulking and remount the leaking faucet, bathroom sink caulking, tub caulking, toilet reset or at least trim the rusted commode bolts sticking up 4 inches. And no laundry facilities like most hotels/motels, or wifi. Other than these issues, interesting place to stay.
