Bea's Parkway Inn

We drove from Florida to have the Andy Griffith experience. We stayed there December 29, 2025. The general manager, Jen Foley and Stacey went out of their way for us. Clean rooms, extra towels and anything we needed. They were friendly and Jen was the sweetest thing. We rented three rooms that were very clean and smelled wonderful.

Don’t book here!!! I booked 3 months in advance, and when I got there they had no record of my reservation and were full. Then they found it by my booking number and offered me a room that they said I would not like. I looked at the room and it was disgusting. It smelled like pot and had hair everywhere. First of all, they were not even in the office when we arrived in the middle of the day…and they have a ring doorbell that says “we don’t want any”. We had to flag down the cleaning guy to even get in the office. Then “Jennifer”, the office manager apologized, and said I wouldn’t be charged. Then my card was charged but then refunded…then 2 weeks later was charged again…for a disgusting room that I never stayed in. And now no one will answer the phone. The place is a disaster! Great value for the room. It's older but well maintained, quiet, clean and the gentleman at the front desk was very sweet. No key cards, you get an actual key. We will definitely be staying here again.

So me and my family currently homeless, go there to stay. We stayed a total of 3 weeks with my service dog no issues at all we had to leave for a few days due to reservations on the room again no big deal. We tried to come back and that’s where the problems started. A housekeeper (that you can definitely tell is messed up) goes in and out of the room all house of the night. When we come back it was told no dogs allowed (ok no problem) my dog a service dog was not allowed back in while everyone else has theirs. We was told that the dog could be there and to sneak him in after it was dark ok whatever you say. I never took the dog in at all trying not to get anyone in trouble and at almost 1am had a knock on the door it was the managers husband telling us we have to leave so we have to pack u

Stayed there a couple of times. The lady in the office Jennifer was super friendly and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to help us even though she didn't have too. The rooms were clean and perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return again!!:)
