Beachcomber Motel

The king suite was the perfect size and included a small kitchenette, table, and chairs. The bed was comfy and clean. The kitchenette was adequate if not a bit dated (old school electric stove). The microwave and dorm-sized fridge worked like a charm.||If there was one aspect of the place worth noting is that the bathroom was a bit small and dated. While the vanity was placed outside of the tub/toilet area, that area was a bit cramped for my tastes.||The staff in the front office was nice and the inground pool was clean and refreshing.||Definitely what I needed at a price I wanted to pay.

Lovely location, but I came home with bed bugs, so never again. Edit: This is what I emailed to management, following their response below: We stayed in room 301 from Friday, July 4 through Sunday, July 6. I did not see bed bugs but I received bites while staying in your establishment. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, I assumed I had been bitten by something at the beach and shrugged it off. However, upon returning home, this morning I woke up with 4 new bites that are in the classic "bed bug" line pattern, and a 5-star pest control service in my area has confirmed that they appear to be bed bug bites. I am having my home professionally treated by an exterminator on Monday, and then retreated in two weeks. I have never had any vermin infestation in my life, and I lived in New Yo

Tbh, I enjoy the closeness to the beach, and I also appreciate the clean room as most motels have bedbugs there is even a TV and two beds parking lot is small but fine, and when we came back they organized everything they folded our blanket we brought and clothes and towels brought fresh one to. The beachcomber was perfect for our needs. It was a no frills resort, but it was clean and comfortable. The beds were decent and the AC worked great. Also, the beachcomber was within a block from the beach. I would book the beachcomber again for the price and location.
