Beachcomber Cottages on Vilano

The lookout suite(unit 93) exceeded our expectations! The best thing about it was its privacy and proximity to the beach. It is truly on the ocean. We could enjoy the view from inside the suite, and the balcony was a great place to sit in the afternoon shade while taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. We loved the roof viewing area for relaxing in the ocean breezes, and access to the beach itself is directly from the property. The interior is nicely decorated and clean, the shower ran hot immediately and had great pressure, and the delivered breakfast was delicious and varied. We walked down to the nearby Publix to get some deli food for several meals and were super happy not to have to leave the area to eat, although St. Augustine and its many restaurants was only a short drive. My husband and I are here now and loving every moment! We had originally booked a resort, but wanted something more quiet. The beach cottages are perfect if you're looking for some privacy. The beach is just steps away and downtown is a quick drive away. The breakfasts have been awesome and the service is great as well! We're having a blast and already talking about returning! Thank you so much for a great vacation!

Nice location, beds and pillows are the most comfortable I have slept on in a rental or hotel.

Stayed at Sandpiper Suite - the location was amazing, quiet area right on the beach with private access. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only issues we found were with cleanliness and a little bit older amenities (there was some sand in the bed, hair in the shower, and the shower water pressure was extremely low.) Overall, was a lovely stay, but would probably book something of more value for this price.

We spent a long weekend (3 nights) here and it felt like total vacation. The location and the privacy of unit 93 are unsurpassed. A very brief walk to the beach, a fabulous sundeck, a nice porch. Ideal for relaxing. The room was nice but not gorgeous with a very nice shower. They brought breakfast every morning which was a nice gesture and got us started but in all honesty, it was a little under par. Staff was very friendly and made us feel truly welcome. We will make sure to come back!
