Beach Walk Hotel

The place was at a very good location and for a good price. However there were many things that were inconvenient. Our fridge barely worked, meaning nothing would freeze. The showers were also very small with very little room to move, water also spilled out because of the build of the shower. One of my major complaints was the parking. It was very unclear and very much miscommunicated among staff members. There was a clear marked area on the parking map they had in the lobby where we were told we could park for free. The next morning I received a ticket on my car for $50. I really hope the manager communicates the parking better with his/her staff.

Hubby and I spent 5 nights here. Super close to the beach, about 90 feet from the boardwalk. Room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. AC worked well. There was a microwave and fridge, clean towels daily if you want them. There are porches with rocking chairs to watch the ocean. The hotel also provided beach umbrellas to its guests, which is super! A few mentions: our shower was ridiculously small. Neither of us are large people and we had issues. Because of the fixed shower head, hubby, who is tall, couldn't get out of the water and I could hardly get any water, as it shot over my head, but hit the wall. There is NO place to set stuff in the bathroom. Maybe other rooms are different, I'm not sure. Also the room only had one overhead light and a small desk lamp, so it was dark. An

Booked 3 nights here for a festival. The bed is literally broken with wood hanging from under the box spring/frame. The AC rattles and is noisy. The fridge doesn’t work at all. The hotel is dirty and falling apart. Parking is confusing. It’s a mess. Don’t give shitty hotels your money

Where should I start? First off, don't walk in the front door. That's someone's room, not the lobby. Second, be careful on the outdoor stairs they're rotting. And don't park in the lot next to the building, that's not theirs. We had to park our motorcycles a block away in a gravel lot next to the bus stop. Other guests were loud. Carpet was dirty. Shower was maybe the worst I've ever seen. Room was incredibly small. The blinds were cracked/broken so anyone in the building next door could look in and see my wife changing. Insanely bad experience. Only positive was we didn't see any bed bugs. 1/10 stars, it's better than sleeping outside but not by much. Go somewhere else.

Beware booked thru booking.com had to cancel was within free cancelation period. Have not received my refund they charge you when you make booking .it's going on 20 days nothing made 2 calls to booking.com hotel does answer them. I called property voice-mail is full.This place is shady.
