Beach Bum West-O

This is our second year staying in a cabin here for the Ocean’s Calling Festival and I truly can’t imagine a better place to stay. The grounds are quiet and well maintained. You can enjoy mornings on your screened in patio or take a stroll along the dock. I especially love having access to an actual kitchen. Jaden at the front desk is so kind and personable and really cares about if the guests are happy/comfortable. We all end up laughing with every interaction and it makes the place extra cozy after fighting crowds all day. Carlos was our shuttle driver again this year and is a great friendly and safe ride to and from the board walk. He makes sure the air conditioning is cranked on hot days, and has towels and the heat running on rainy days (he even made an extra trip Saturday for thos

To begin with jaden, the front desk person was very accommodating and warm and friendly.|I've answered all our questions.| Our stay was quite pleasant and very quiet. The pool was wonderful clean clear... The breakfast it was a little disappointing only because I was expecting a bit more.Maybe like roles, danish a little bit more options|But it's enough. I have to hold one over if you choose to go out for it brunch| Easy access to shops evie entertainment, within the perimeters of the hotel. Still plenty of shop's entertainment further down. We had a great time attending the Ocean City Cigar Fest hosted by the Beach Bum West-O. The staff were exceptionally professional, helpful, insightful, and courteous! They truly put the service in Customer Service....An art that has been forgotten by many organizations/companies these days!! Yes, I said, and it's true. The management team..... OMG! I love the way that the management not only interacted with the patrons and attendees, the management interacted in a true fashion to ensure the staff were taken care of just as much as the attendees. Moreover, hearing and seeing the comradery between them was truly amazing! Definitely worth the visit and stay.

Beach Bum West-O GOOD: hybrid campground nature and amenities, location BAD: standard rooms are shoebox small, 12x8 living space excluding nice size bathroom - not adequate for more than 1 person BBW was a pleasent surprise with it's campground features. There's a great river walk and view, park benches and grills on property, and a decent swimming pool. Breakfast is included but it's limited to a small coffee station, fruit, cereal, and microwave sandwiches - slightly more than expected, but didn't meet my needs. The knock to 4 stars is the room size for the price. I gaped after opening the door and nearly hit the bed - very small. They did manage to cram in all the accessories as advertised. Stayed 5 years in a row for bike rally was good place but loyalty does not matter since Summer left. She always made sure next years reservation was done before we left. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again
