Bayside Inn & Marina

We stayed here on our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. It was a nice place with a beautiful view of the lake. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and staff member was very nice! The price was the best we paid for our entire New England trip. Great price!

Nice rooms. Comfy beds. Good towels and shower pressure. Coffee at the front desk was good Nice playroom with arcades for the kids. Only concern was that the front desk checked in 4 different guests and put them all directly next to each other or above each other. Why? You have an entire nice motel that offers tranquility and peaceful views.... Why bunch everyone up together so that they can hear everyone? That was my only complaint. Otherwise, a nice place.

Positive: Great view of the lake, very clean, very friendly staff. Exceeded our expectations! Negative: The heater in the room was perhaps insufficient.

It all started with the greeting! We pulled in near the office to check in. We were promptly greeted in the parking lot by a little black pup so friendly and cute, soon to be followed by Jason & Jennifer, the owners of Bayside Inn. We chatted for awhile, went inside for our keys (yes, keys😊) and get directions to our rooms. Couldn't have been more pleasant! The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities you would need for our one night stay. The only thing we didn't rate a 5 were the beds as they were a little soft for our older (but not too old!), achy bones. The view of the lake was spectacular, the leaves were just starting to change color and the sunrise was just awesome! We had a great mother daughter weekend. The inn was just beautiful. Check in was flawless, rooms extremely clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Staff friendly, great coffee . The property was clean , safe and quiet. Parking was no problem. It’s about 15 minutes from anything so be prepared before going back for the night. We will definitely be back. Great town , amazing farmers market in Cooperstown on Saturday’s. If you are thinking about staying there just do it.
