The staff was nice and the morning shift canceled my reservation for the second night with no issues. The room was not good, I turned on the heat and it smelled like burning cat pee s I pulled out the filter and it was FOUL, I left it out si it would not catch fire. The door and lock were very damaged, The security lock was glued on and not even attach in one spot. The ceiling had a large crack. The walls were so thin I could hear the next room opening a soda. Let alone all the talking and other activities. It was SO LOUD all night long. This is a motel not a hotel. Please be aware of that the doors and locks are damaged. I would never stay here again and would have left if it was not already late and I could not find another room anywhere close. I was there with my nieces and we ended up

The room doors are on the balcony outside, which is normally fine. However, our room door was open when we arrived and one bed had no bedding, and there was a pile of bedding on the floor, which appeared to be from a previous bed. The door closing and staying closed was a major issue. The room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke (in a “non-smoking” room. When I went to the front desk to talk about this, the employee said they felt bad and understood, but that there was nothing they would or could do. I checked out very quickly after checking in, due to the safety/security concerns with that room being open and used in the way it was prior to our arrival and also, the cigarette smoke was so bad. I would avoid this place entirely. I gave the location 2 stars because of the proximit

Positive: Decent breakfast Negative: No extra blankets. It’s horrible to share a bed with someone who steals your blankets all night and you can’t get any extra.

I'm a business traveler so I'm used to staying in Hilton and Marriott hotels. Stayed here for an overnight trip to Cedar Point. Got to the hotel around 11 pm but had to wait to check in due to a drunk patron and the front desk was dealing with the police - this is not the fault of the hotel. We were told the wrong room and after trying the key cards several times and having someone open the door, we were directed to the correct room. Not impressed upon the first glance and the room was stuffy. We turned the temperature down on the air conditioner and had the fan on 'high', and the room cooled down very quickly and stayed cool. Room was okay and seemed clean, went for breakfast couldnt even get juice it was all out and the water pretty much was too, no one at the front desk or anywhere to ask for more, so we had to go spend money at McDonald's down the road. The tv has pitiful channels when on the tv channel guide thats in the room says you get a ton of them you do not, in fact i couldn't get to tv to work half the time. Convenient for the amusement park thats about it.
