I will not be staying here again. Room smelled terrible, mildewy and wafts of weed smell, which I don't usually hate so much but it was so strong. People in the room above me were stomping around all night (literally the entire time I was in the room), and their smoke detector went off twice. The desk person went to see what they could do but nothing changed. There was no do not disturb placard, even when I asked for one, and I was woken by housekeeping knocking. All the lights were bright white, which I know is preference. The sink was ice cold, not hot water there. Breakfast was not the best. I did not sleep well here.
Wanted a nice hotel in a safe area since it was just my daughter and I. This wasn’t it! The area and the staff seemed fine, but the room made me wish I could levitate. The general vibe was possibly just a step up from a homeless shelter. Think Motel 6. We left and found a better place to stay in the town of Oregon.
This place immediately looked sketchy when i came up. The staf lady was nice the people staying here some looked a little shady. I immediately smelled weed all over the hotel may ey thats because of the main demographic that stays here idk. The tv in the room is 30 years old which sucks because after work ill be in my room mostly and its like 20 inches to cheap to upgrade i guess not like tvs are exspensive these days. THE WORST PART its 2 am and for whatever reason i woke up and some black lady randomly enters my room i yelled at her and she left who tf was that and how do they have a key for my room. Now i definitly do t feel safe here im glad im leaving tommorow to my old hotel. Dont stay here!
Positive: Easy check in and check out. A lot of restaurant/bar options close by. Negative: The room was extremely small and you could hear nearby rooms and cleaning crew- very thin walls. Shower floor was clean but in rough shape.
Safe neighborhood. Was hesitant after booking a reading all the reviews. Yes I did smell cigarettes and got a mildew-y smell like they say. We were in room 141 which is poolside and I sleep well so noise didnt bother me, I noticed a mildew smell only after I let my swimsuit sit in the bathroom after the pool. I didnt like the no fan in the bathrooms as it could help with the issues stated but it wasn't a deal breaker. I always bring my own blankets and pillows so I sleep on top. Staff was friendly. Enjoywd the 3$ spotted cows and they had other beer and seltzer options.
