Baymont by Wyndham Longview

Booked this hotel through Expedia online. Booked a non smoking room. Got there. Room reaked of cigarette smoke. There was a towel in the trash can, I dared not touch it. Walked to the bathroom. Mold on the floors, in the corners of the tub. Floors dirty. Pulled back the covers, because at this point I was looking for bed bugs, and there was pubic hair along with human hair everywhere. I was so disgusted that I walked out after checking in for 10 minutes. Walked to the desk. Told the girl. She said call whoever you booked it with. Well apparently they have been down this road before and rather then answer the phone for an authorization for a refund they chose to ignore 10 phone calls from Expedia. Honestly I feel like this is a hotel that makes their money by the hour and not by the

Rooms were dirty. Beds sheets were not clean. A/C works but no heat. Staff was unprofessional and not willing to work with guest on anything. Front desk hardly had anyone at it. Had to walk around several times to find someone that works here before checking in. No breakfast as advertised. Rooms again were dirty and small. Hot water was warm at best.

Property was under construction, overgrown, with lots of trash and broken beer bottles on the ground. We were given a "non-smoking" room that reeked of old cigarettes. The front desk would not give us another room because "we probably wouldn't like that one either." They offered to spray the room to make it smell better. I cancelled the room and called three times for a refund with no luck reaching the manager. We've stayed here several times in the past because although it was nothing fancy, it was a nice clean place to stay. I assume new management. I won't be staying there again.

Don’t let the outside fool you!! Terribly trashed on the outside from them redoing the rooms but the room I stayed in was good. Needs some new furniture and didn’t have wash cloths, hand towels and the bathtub needs to be redone, needs new coffee maker although I have a travel one I carry with me not everyone does…but the bed was Super clean and comfortable!! Pillow top mattress like mine at home and absolutely no signs of insects. Flooring redone, new paint from top to bottom. The staff was Super Nice and certainly took care of my needs. Best night of sleep I’ve had away from home in many, many years. I’ll be going back when I return to Longview which has been a lot the past few years.

This hotel really needs some upgrades. There are a lot of improvements that need to be done. The linen were stained with large yellow spots. The 🚽 didn't work in our first room. The second room was just a little better. The light over the sink the work the room wasn't fresh and the cleaning lady left her hair everywhere. My family and I will NOT be staying there anymore.
