Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland

Very clean and a quiet hotel. Comfy bed and pillows. Spacious room with hardwood floors throughout. Beautiful heated vanity mirror with different light settings. They are currently doing upgrades. Therefore, the lobby was scarce of furniture and plants. The room had the same vibe as there were no pictures or anything making you feel at home…not even a coffee pot. I was pleased the room included a microwave and refrigerator. Cracker Barrel is in walking distance and accessible from the backside of the lobby area..

Review for Baymoon by Wyndham Lakeland My husband and I chose this hotel for its great price-quality-location ratio while we were taking a diving class, and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the air conditioners were fresh with recently changed filters, and the TV worked perfectly. We loved the quirky mirror in the room! The bedding was spotless, with no stains or odors, and the hotel itself was very quiet. There’s even a pool, which was a nice bonus. The location is excellent, with easy access to the highway and close to some fast-food options and gas stations. It’s convenient for traveling both north and south, with nearby towns within reach. There are also lovely cafes and restaurants not far from the hotel, and many great diving spots nearby, including lakes and gro

Positive: The location was the only positive of this hotel. Negative: This hotel is very inviting from the outside. Once you step through the front doors it’s a completely different scene. The staff is rude and unhelpful, the hotel is run down, dirty (mold/bugs) & lacking basic things. The guests are loud and up all night.

Not a good hotel. I wasn't expecting Walt Disney Resort, but I was expecting basic quality. The furniture in the rooms were damaged, there was a crack in the bathroom door like someone punched it, the blinds were broken, the floors felt dirty upon entry, and there were suspicious stains on the headboard. We requested a different room, the second was worse then the first. The fire alarm was missing, the vanity was covered in like rements of various packaging dyed into the counter, the sink was cracked and had need for a while, you could see the water damage beneath the enamel. It also had little bugs crawling in it. We found roach traps that looked like they hadn't been changed in a while. Room 222. Offered large fridge with freezer and tv and microwave all good features. Bed was comfty. The only issues i had were the window was only covered by blinds with a very bright street light outside which kept the room semi lit . Recommend adding a black out curtain. The ac/ heater was loud and vent was dirty ( needs to be wiped of all dust . I ran my fingers on it and caked with dust clumps
