Baymont by Wyndham Iron Mountain

I have probably stayed at 100 nights worth of hotels so far for my work and this place is definetly the best price to quality ratio I have found so far. It’s in a great location, has great service, and is the first hotel I’ve found where my room had a mini fridge with a separate refrigerator and freezer compartment. That may sound like a small detail but it is really nice when you’re traveling with food and you don’t want to choose between having your frozen stuff thawed or your refrigerated stuff frozen. Hopefully you get Kanna as your receptionist, he is the nicest front desk clerk I have interacted with thus far at any hotels I’ve stayed at. Rented a suite for valentines and the room was filthy. Floor felt greasy if you didn’t wear socks. The bathroom was disgusting, the tub had a slimy film, the toilet seat had crusted piss stains. The tub in the bedroom we didn’t even use because of how gross it looked. There were mystery stains everywhere, the bed the curtains the floor. Every time we left our room we had to go up to the front desk to get a new card so we could get back into our room because the locks were malfunctioning. Breakfast was just sad. The front desk staff were friendly that’s the only positive I have for this place.

The rooms are clean. The folks that take care of the place are polite and accommodating. The breakfast was nearly non existent. The last time it was decent. I think because we were the only guests. This would be a great, affordable location for skiers!

Positive: The check in was fantastic! Tisha was so accommodating! There was a nicer room available and she gave us that room! If ever staying in Iron Mountain! Baymount is where you should stay! Negative: The vending was what makes this place 1 star! My sister said because they had "twin snakes" it should be 2 star! It was a great overnight stay!
