Baymont by Wyndham Coeur D Alene

I booked on hotels.com but cant leave a review for some reason. I knew this hotel had issues with cleanliness, but read some recent reviews on hotels and seemed better. NOT!|Its a good area, lots of parking, lots of potential here. |SO..... I think our room was lived in. There was pop splattered all over cupboards and roof/light. Cupboards had dust on top of doors.|The dishwasher had someones dishes in there. |The mini fridge was full of sticky stuff (my note stuck to it so they could see)|The carpet and couch were science experiments!! Husband put towel down to sit on couch, it had white stuff on side( I just cant imagine what that was!) and filthy.|The floor boards all around whole room were beyond dirty and dusty.|I used wet toilet paper to wipe brown smear off trim by door handle in

Definitely a great price for the time we spent there, breakfast in the morning is nothing to brag about but something is better than nothing. Price was ok for what's around that area. 2 exceptional workers and 1 not so exceptional manager/owner who could use a little tact and maybe a smile from time to time, I don't won't to dog on someone for they may have a lot going on behind closed doors. I just know that the golden rule truly works and I firmly stand by my authentic self when interacting with other in any facet of life. 2-3 star hotel, just my opinion and I hope that you find the place that best meets your expectations! Positive: The staff was incredibly helpful, the pool and hot tub were great, breakfast was good, location is good, and price affordable. We got two rooms and they gave us adjoining rooms. Negative: There are many items that need updating in this hotel ie carpet, toilet, bathroom fan, hairdryer, microwave. These outdated items make the hotel seem less clean because of staining and wear.

I stay here a lot during the winter. It's a n upscale motel with indoor pool and spa. And has complimentary hot breakfast. I also like that the staff makes me feel welcome, recognizing me both on the phone when I make my reservation and in person. I lije to call the motel directly since I'm handicapped as they do a great job of accomidating me.

Room was filthy. Large stains on carpet. Bathroom was gross. Hair on the floor and on the tub. Rusty faucet in bathtub and some horrible smell in the bathroom I can not describe. Wish I would have taken photos, but wanted to leave as soon as possible in the morning. We did not shower or eat the breakfast. Was not sure how sanitary the food handling was. This is the first time I have ever complained about a hotel.
