Bay Meadow Cottages

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights at Bay Meadow Cottages. Our cottage, Acadia Sunrise, was perfect in every way – comfortable bed, AC for those warm nights, great bathroom and good kitchen. It was such a restful experience to enjoy morning coffee on the deck while looking over the green space and onto the cove. And the location, just a few miles away from Bar Harbor and all types of dining places, shopping and grocery stores, was excellent. And the proximity to an entrance to the national park.|Steve and Kirsten are wonderful hosts! They provided us with lots of recommendations in the local area. And the espresso bar in the raised barn (check out the coffee table book on this – very interesting) was great for a mid-morning cappuccino and then a glass of wine (BYOW) in the afternoon.|Wo

Felt like home away from home! The cottages are cute, the pie is delicious, And the staff was so friendly! To be able I have to be able to drink coffee by the water in the morning and cocktails by the water in the evening was a perfect way to start and end our day. It was a nice area to be away from The hubbub of Main Street in Bar Harbor and head downtown to visit. They are close to Acadia National Park entrance. When we come back to Bar Harbor we will book again with Bay Meadow Cottages.

I have never felt more at home and comfortable in another hotel/airbnb! We couldn't have picked a better place to stay on our first trip to Maine and Acadia. Bay Meadow Cottages are tucked back and quiet, but still close to the main highway to take you out to Bar Harbor or to Acadia National Park. After spending a full day hiking, the quiet, little cottage was a perfect place to return to for a meal on the porch. The cottage itself was well appointed, stunningly clean, and well maintained. I cannot overemphasize how well kept these cottages are with beautiful hardwood floors and a fresh coat of paint. The cove across the street provides excellent opportunities for a little tide pooling and catching a beautiful sunset. Looking forward to a return trip!

Kirsten, Chelsea, and Steve are the best host I've ever had. This is my second time here and I'm visiting with my mom. They have been more than accommodating and helpful. Pleasant, professional, and very nice. They even made me my own maine blueberry pie for my birthday and it was the best blueberry pie I've ever had! I would come here every year!

We had no idea what to expect! These cottages are just about the cutest things we’ve ever seen! They are very tiny… No TV and old, yet quaint and charming! Kirsten and her husband are some of the sweetest people.:). You are literally five minutes from an entrance to Acadia National Park. We stayed in the cottage called Rusticator. Highly recommend this cabin, as you can see the water across from it with no obstructed view. These owners are phenomenal communicators, and we think you will fall in love just as we did. Will definitely stay here again!
