Auburn House Hotel

Stained floors. Stained sheets. Requested maid services and room was ignored. Loud noise from highway. Outdated furtinuture and interior. Musky scented throughout floor and room. Front desk was nice for what its worth.

Positive: The proximity to restaurants and stores. Negative: The room was filthy. There were dead cockroaches in the bathroom, nail clippings all over the floor, the bedding was all dirty and/or stained. The deadbolt didn’t work and the door was difficult to lock. The TV didn’t work.

Room was full of roaches, tubs were full of pubic hair. Outdated furniture and TV had a late 1980s vibe. When I complained they moved me into a room with a smaller bed, no toilet paper or shampoo, broken lock on the front door, and black spots on the comforters. Staff was rude Dee, Betty and Bonnie all rude. Manager who was there in the morning was rude and uncaring too. Punished me and threatened me with no refund because I reported them to Choice. I will be reporting to the BBB and state attorney general.

Room was ok for a short stay, nothing special. Beds are very worn out. TV in the room had no sound. Just a basic room. Don’t expect anything else than the minimum.

It is a place to lay your head, and the staff is somewhat friendly? Very affordable. We did see more than one beetle, but beetles aren't too scary, right?
